StudioCam: 12 - 15 July 2010
A week in the life of our StudioCam's POV. This week features; a less busy studio. A few screen printing sessions for Ayben, some regular printing sessions for members Louise Boyland, Kevin Pickering and Gerry Smith. A colour techniques course for Gillian Choo and making some tote bags for the M.A.D opening event @ Bramblebrook Community Centre. Music "New Friendly" incompetech.com

A week in the life of our StudioCam's POV. This week features a ton of collographs! Our work experiencer Jack Eccles from Long Eaton School and our Artist in Residence Ayben Kaynar Tanir working away in the studio. Deferred Gratification
Today was the private view / preview of our latest show 'Deferred Gratification'; an exhibition of prints by our members. The show's home for the next two months will be at the lovely Crompton Tavern.
The official-type blurb: " The Printmaker is a most peculiar being. He/she delights in DEFERRED GRATIFICATION and in doing what does not come naturally. A week in the life of our StudioCam's POV. This week features Jo Newton (University of Derby), a visit from Kathleen K. Scott Moore, the ever hardworking Kevin Pickering, our Artist in Residence Ayben Kaynar Tanir arriving in the studio and the mass preparation of work to be hung at the 'Deferred Gratification' show this weekend (opening 03 July 2010 at the Crompton Tavern).
