Artist's Statement:
Usually, I like to work within a concept and my main inspiration for new work is animals. It is a challenge to give each animal a character and inject some humour into the portrait. I love creating textures that can be used to represent fur on skin.
I enjoy collograph printing because every stage of the print is completed by hand and it can provide some dynamic results.
With help from Green Door, I hope to explore other avenues of printmaking that will enable me to formulate new ideas and concepts for my illustrative work.
