Artist's Statement:
My name is Sam and I'm 11 years old. I got into printmaking by it being the family business. I was shown how to do mono prints but then got bored of them as I couldn't express my feelings with them where as I can with collographs. My first types of collographs were intaglio but then I realised how to do relief collographs. I like making plates of animals, monsters and fantasy stuff.
I like the work of Banksy and my good friend Brendan McDowell I also like the illustrator of Garfield: Jim Davis. I'm also looking forward to doing art in my secondary school. My favourite art to do in class is definitely doodling.
