Artist's Statement:
I've been many things in my time. An electrician, a retail manager, a Civil Servant. Now it would appear that I have become a print maker.
This happened completely by accident when I stumbled across Green Door one day. It was a bit like Alice falling down the rabbit hole. One minute I'm going my own sweet way, creating art whenever I could and with whatever medium I could lay my hands on. The next I'm transformed into a screen print addict. It would appear that I've found a missing link in my creative process, a reason for making the work. And that reason is simply because I can.
I'm a student of life. Absorbing the world around me like a sponge. Occasionally I squeeze out that sponge and out pops an image that will become...something. More often than not my work contains some form of typographical element. I love the juxtaposition of words and pictures. In my book (pun intended) you can rarely have one without the other.
