Green Door Printmaking Studio is based on the first floor of the St James Centre in the Normanton area of Derby. Access to the Centre and the Studio facilities is fully adapted for the disabled. Studio users with a disability that requires assistance may bring another person free of charge, although assistants will still have to complete a Health & Safety induction. There is free off-road parking just beside the Centre. When taking a break from printmaking members can relax in our small office which houses our printmaking reference and resource library plus basic kitchen facilities for the preparation of hot drinks and snacks. Recently we have also created a gallery space beside our Studio - 'The Stair Gallery' - where we show and sell the work of our members. The main Studio workspace features floor to ceiling windows on two sides with daylight recessed ceiling lights giving excellent consistent light levels.
