Artist's Statement:
My name is Natalie Turner, I currently work as a personal health care assistant. I have attended Green Door since late 2007 and already have been in a number of exhibitions, including the Oregon Ink Spot Exchange and Prints for Peace in Mexico. I have no background in art, but since going to Green Door I have learnt a number of printing techniques including Monotype, Collography and Acrylic Relief Etching.
My influences would be Banksy, I am also very interested in Frida Kahlo's work as well. I plan to keep on going to Green Door and produce excellent art. My plans for the future are to fo to college and university to gain qualifications in art and media.
