A solo exhibition of linocut prints by Pandora Johnson

“Approaching the medium from a background in screen printing, I am currently exploring how linocut can both recreate the quality of line and level of detail that I strive for with my illustrations, whilst also allowing for a freedom of drawing and and the serendipitous mark-making that relief printing achieves. My current body of relief prints reflect the state of reflective calm that this printmaking method transfers, both through the subject matter and the physical act of carving the block.”
