The concept of 'space-junk' and the kinds of objects and information that orbit Earth indefinitely was a topic I became interested in before working on this piece.

Defunct satellites, rocket boosters and other man-made objects that range vastly in size all swirl around just outside the Earth's atmosphere, like floating relics that travel at thousands of miles per hour.

I felt inspired by what these strange, forgotten lumps of technology could say about humanity in centuries to come, and the kind of fragmented information and messages we may be sending out into space.
