What will you learn?

Each day will cover a different process;

Collography
Collography (also spelt Collagraphy) is both an intaglio and relief printmaking technique. The term ‘Collography’ is derived from the Greek words ‘collo’ (meaning glue) and ‘graph’ (meaning the activity of drawing). We will cover this technique will over two evenings.

Acrylic Resist Etching: Line Drawing
Etching is an intaglio printing process. Intaglio means a figure or a design cut or hollowed out of any substance. In this introduction to the Queen of printmaking; Etching, we will cover how to prep metal plates and etching a line drawing.

Photographic Screen Printing
Although Photographic Screen Printing is a technique that was primarily developed for graphic and commercial use, it is perhaps one of the most useful of all printmaking processes available to the studio-based artist/printmaker.
