Fine Art Editioning

Green Door Printmaking Studio are available to undertake fine art editioning services for artists looking to reproduce their artwork. We are available to work with artists with little or no prior experience of printmaking. At every step of the project, our printmakers are available to advise the artist about their options and answer any questions about the medium that may arise. We will print your edition for you using archival materials, light-fast inks and acid free handmade papers. Green Door Printmaking Studio are happy to consult before undertaking any project.

If you are an artist looking to explore the use of printmaking in your work, but have little or no experience of producing your own edition of prints, our master printmakers are available to work closely with you to achieve your vision in print.

This service is available for the following printmaking techniques:

Pricing

Pricing for each project will vary depending on artwork and edition sizes, chosen technique and materials.

Artists are encouraged to work with our printmakers in-studio, and are invited to join us for a minimum of three, hour-long sessions to oversee the complete production of the edition; from artwork realisation through to signing and editioning the series.

We can source all of the materials involved in producing your edition, including archival inks and hand made cotton rag based papers.

Pricing starts from £150 (materials not included)

All of the prints produced during the collaboration (including states, if applicable, and proofs) will be produced with specialised materials and a highly experienced technical ability.

By allowing our master printmakers to take care of the technical considerations of the printmaking and editioning process, artists are able to focus on the creative aspects of the project, giving them the freedom to enjoy the process.

Our printmakers are always on hand if you require any advise on pricing, storing or framing your edition.

Whether you have a finished piece of artwork, or are just in the preliminary planning stages, we encourage you to get in touch with us to discuss your project in depth to see how printmaking can be utilised in your project.

Consultations are free and can be held in our studio in Banks Mill over a cup of tea.

We advise you allow a minimum of 4-6 weeks before your project deadline.
