Accidental Landscapes

A solo exhibition by Geraldine Yvonne Smith.

Geraldine’s landscapes of the imagination are as a result of interplay of reworking and abstracting motifs from direct observation. Geraldine has explored the process of hand pulling prints by combining and deconstructing her plates to inspire finished images to capture something of the impact and vitality the natural world has on the human spirit. The process and finished images combine an element of the accident and the accidental encounter.
