Learn how to create linocut prints from a single block inspired by flora and fauna imagery during this one day course.
What will you learn?
Linocut is a relief printing technique, a variant of woodcut in which a sheet of linoleum (sometimes mounted on a wooden block) is used as the relief surface. Lino is a beautifully malleable printing surface. It is a very graphic method of producing an image. Designs can be cut, melted, or carved to create a bold and experimental design.
