A Familiar Place

A solo exhibition by Heather Horsley.

In this, Heather’s maiden exhibition, she has explored the city of Derby with intrigue and detailing, searching for unique elements of character and beauty, both in it’s people and surrounding architecture.

Heather has captured iconic places that explores three important elements of how an illustrative image informs us; people, place and their interaction.

Using her knowledge of mono-printing, hand drawn elements and digital applications, Heather has combined the three very different methods of mark making to produce a series of contemporary Giclee prints.
